Williams, Valley Center’s Teacher of the Year, will be one of 44 district teachers honored at the “Cox Presents: Salute to Teachers” on Aug. 25 as a nominee for San Diego County Teacher of the Year. Williams teaches art/ceramics at Valley Center High School.

Primary School Buzz-A-Thon
On Friday, May 26th, the children at Valley Center Primary School will be participating in the 34th Annual Bee Buzz-A-Thon. Students will walk or jog around a marked course, completing as many laps as they can in 15 minutes having fun along the way. Through the VCHS Workability program, students have been able to pursue career interests outside of the school day like an intro to welding class. Seniors visited Palomar Community College today where some will enroll and start their career pathway taking welding or automotive and diesel mechanics.
