Thank You Sheriff's Department

Many thanks to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department deputies and Detective Jason Rouse for their support during the lockdown at Valley Center Middle School. SD Sheriff's Department deputies acted quickly, directing us to lockdown the school to ensure that an incident in a nearby residence would not cause any harm to our students or staff.

Staff and students worked together to make the best of the day, and many thanks to our food service staff who delivered lunches to classrooms. The lockdown was cancelled before the end of the school day and students returned to their regular classes and dismissal.

Thanks, also, to Valley Center Happenings for helping us to get our messages out to the community.

School and sports will resume as usual on Wednesday, February 25th.

Congratulations, Julie Kimball!
