High School Math and English Language Development Curriculum Adoption – Public Review
Valley Center–Pauma Unified School District has completed a pilot process to evaluate a new curriculum for high school Mathematics and English Language Development (ELD) for the 2025–2026 school year.
Following classroom implementation and committee review, the following programs are being recommended for adoption:
Mathematics: OpenUp Math
English Language Development (ELD): English 3D (HMH Education)
Instructional materials will be available for public review at:

April 23, 2026 – Board Meeting
May 6, 2026 – 7:30–8:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m., 3:30–4:30 p.m.
May 14, 2026 – Board Meeting
Following Board approval, both programs will be implemented with ongoing professional development and support for teachers.
